Beautiful morning!  Wish the weather was like this all the time.  

I am sitting here on my patio thinking about like and what I make of it.  I get paid once a week and its gone before Friday afternoon.  I feel like I am working just to survive and not live.  I hope I get to babysit this weekend because I need that extra money coming in.  I'm make enough money to survive but that's about it. I don't have anything left over because I just don't make enough. Gas is so high & the light bill is high because of the summer.

I'm going to Helena Arkansas in the morning to  watch a Civil War reenactment. I'm so excited. Its been a long time since I've did anything like this. The best thing about it is it's free. I want to go to the Delta cultural center and look at the Lincoln exhibit as well.  I don't do a lot on the weekends but I want to do this one. It's close to home and I wouldn't be burning a lot of gas. I have a few dollars with me to buy lunch and then go home.

  Clarksdale is really getting bad. They had another shoot out yesterday afternoon. The police were called but never showed up.  This shouldn't be happening. The crime and the blacks are all out of control.  I love my beautiful home and where it's located. I just hate coming to Clarksdale and worry if I'm going to hurt, makes, or killed by some black and a gun. I try not to be so judgmental but sometimes you just can't help it.  I take care of my dogs because they are my protection and the only thing keeping bad people out of my yard.

I'm looking forward to my trip to Jackson for my church. I'm so excited about being a delegate. I don't know what I will do with Maggie while I'm gone. She is so scared and alone when I'm not here.

I turn my air conditioner on last night. It felt so good sleeping in the cool. I turned it off when I got up this morning so I guess I will have to sweat it out this afternoon. I'll mainly stay in the living room with the ceiling fan on.  When I sell my camper; I'm going to pay the light company $200 as a credit on my light bill. I need to cut down my electricity bill this summer but I know it's gonna be hard. I don't make a lot of money but I do want to stay cool and comfortable in the summertime.

Friars point & Coahoma county weathered another storm tonight. We had very little damage. We were so lucky this time. The tornado, hail,heavy winds, and rain all headed east of us. I heard that Quitman county and Panola County got hit hard but with no reported major damage. Kincade, Maggie, and I got out in the storm to make sure the people of Friars Point were alright. We do enjoy what we do. Always want to help someone in need.
I'm going to patrol Moon Lake and paradise point after church to make sure there wasn't any damage and all the people were okay. I will report this on Twitter, Facebook, and Weather Underground.

Have a great time at Ashley and Todd's wedding and reception. They are such a sweet couple. I've known them for a long time and I know that there will be happy together forever. Congratulations Ashley and Todd!

I was planning to plant a large garden this summer but I decided that a small one will be sufficient for right now. I just don't have enough financing to make it happen. It was just a dream that I wanted to make come true but right now I have to look at it on a small scale. I was supposed plant this weekend but the rain and thunderstorms change my plans. I'm glad I didn't because we had a lot of hail tonight. I guess I will try to do it next weekend. I had big plans but I had to cancel him because of different things happening this summer. I'm not going to give up on my idea but I'm going to work at it on a small scale.

Jessica had her lead out prom tonight.  She looked beautiful .  She is such a smart girl.  She works hard and wants to do something with her life.  I am so proud of her.

I am going to work in the morning for a few hours.  I have a lot to do and I need to do a conference call with one of our customers.  I have to work at least 4 hours to make it worth it.

The FBI, DEA, and the National Guard took over Clarksdale Mississippi. There're helicopters flying all over town and the agents were pulling people over left and right and running their background checks. I was excited to hear what I was going on in town. I'll try not to be so judgmental over Clarksdale but something has to be done. I'm pleased to hear that there were results.

My teeth are hurting so bad. I am going to call the doctor tomorrow and try to get them out soon. I don't want to take any prescription drugs because of the problems that occurs once you get off of them. I do need to get this wisdom tooth cut out as soon as possible. I do have the money now and I'm going to go on and get it done.

I think I'm going to get a manicure and pedicure soon. I haven't had one in a long time and I think I deserve one. I need to get the manicure to have my cuticles trim because I can do that myself. I'm cutting back on a lot of things but I still have to have my nails done a couple of times a year just to make them healthy. I don't need a pedicure but once a year. I can usually do my toenails myself. I need to get them trimmed & the cuticles on them trimmed as well. I want to go to Southhaven in the next couple of weekends and have it done.

Crazy week at work. I'm so glad it is the weekend. I love my job and the people I work for but it is crazy sometimes. I'm glad I can work fast and accurately because I do get a lot of work done. I'm just tired and mentally exhausted by the weekend.

I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do this weekend. I sent out a little money out of my paycheck to go somewhere. It's between Southhaven and Oxford. They are my two favorite places to go on weekends when I have a little extra money to spend. I enjoyed both places. There's so much to do there and you don't have to have a lot of money if you're going to look, watching movie, or visit friends.
I think it's going to be the Southhaven area. I love Hernando, Olive Branch, and Horn Lake too. All 4 of the cities are beautiful, no crime, and plenty to do. I saved out $50 out of my paycheck to go somewhere. I have a tank full of gas and my Volvo is fixed. I want to have fun and enjoy my day. I want to go watch the movie Olympus Has Fallen at the Malco this afternoon. It's been going on at the movies for going on six weeks. I just haven't been able to get up there to watch it. It will be on DVD soon but I want to go watch it at the theater first. I haven't been to see a movie since January.

Jessica will be graduating Lee Academy in another week. It's funny how time flies by. I feel so old. I'm so proud of Jessica. She's done so well in school and is going to be an engineer. I'm going to give her money along the way and a small gift. I wanted to get her an iPhone 4 S because her iPhone 4 is broken but my brother said for me to keep the phone. I might keep the phone and sell it on craigslist or eBay. I could get a lot of money for it and give her some of that money.


I'm going to get the air conditioning fixed in my Mitsubishi Montero sport in the next month. I want to sell the camper so I'll have the money to buy all the stuff I need. I love the truck and I guess I'm going to keep it for another year. I may end up selling it next year and buy a newer vehicle. I'll always keep my Volvo because it's so dependable. I need a newer car for travel in case I found another job that's out of town. I don't want to spend a lot of money but I think I can spend around 20,000. I'm looking mainly towards the Toyota Prius . Really nice car and very gas efficient.
