I feel much better that Bruce and I are taking more.  He has hurt me so many times yet I take him back.  I think he learned his lesson this time.  We will see...

My maid didn't show up this morning so I had I do it myself.  I am tired right now.  I have to go mop the hallway in a few minutes.  I will then clean the sunroom and that's all for today. My bedroom is the last room and I will do it tomorrow.  My house will all be clean then.  I am going to use the left over $40.00 to buy some extra food and go visit my family Sunday of Monday.  The other two rooms that I don't use will be cleaned in a few weeks.  I want one room made into a guest room and the other one an office.

Having a wonderful Sunday today. Went to church and Sunday school this mor ing. 

Watched a little tv, ate lunch, and fell asleep on the couch. I was still tired from taking that sleeping pill this morning at 4:30 am.

I am now outside burning boxes in the firepit. The breeze feels great! I had to get out from under the patio bd sues it just to hot with the fire going. I might even cool some chicken on the grill for supper.

I hope we get a nice raise at work soon. I am having a hard time right now. I am still praying that I will find something better soon. I can't continue to struggle.

Vacation Days 3 & 4

Vacation Days 3 & 4

Had a great time Wednesday in Stuttgart, AR. Mack's Prairie Wings is an awesome store and the set up is breathtaking. I stopped by the Louisiana Purchase State Park and walked on the board walk. Nice place, well kept, and peaceful. I will be back again soon. 

I stopped by my friend Rocky's furniture store and visited with him and his brother for a while. I even saw some furniture I wanted but I have to make sure I am staying around here before I make any new purchases.

I don't know how able people who can work can sit at home and expect someone else to take care of them. I would go completely crazy if I stayed home all the time. I did manage to keep myself busy this week but I am running out of things to do. I had to get creative yesterday because I was running out of things to do. 

Thursday, I rode to Oxford to see my aunt and uncle. I carried my little dog Maggie with me. We had a great time. Maggie tried to bite the UPS man and growled at everyone in Petsmart. 

Hope Friday is a good one. Last day of my vacation.

Vacation Day 2 (August 20, 2013)

Vacation Day 2

I woke up at 7:30 am this morning. I never get to sleep that late. It felt good to get up when I wanted to.

I made it to Clarksdale this afternoon to go to the library, run a few errands, eat lunch, and meet with a friend about some work I can do at home for extra money. 

I still have plans to leave out on my adventure but not sure what day yet. I have some work to do around the house tomorrow and another meeting. 

I think I want to find work that I can do myself from home. I spend $275.00 a month on fuel and another $120.00 a month for food for lunch. I added up my receipts from my organic farm last night. I did ok but not like I was hoping too. I sell Watkins Products but only have 2 customers. I don't promote it like I should. I will start working on this idea because this vacation is making me want to do better for myself.

May be leaving out in the morning on one of my adventures. It's only going to be a day trip though.

August 19, 2013 (Vacation Day 1)

Vacation Day 1

My first day of vacation has gone well so far. I got to enjoy my coffee & breakfast on the patio. I downloaded a new book on my Kindle and listened some some good music.

I don't know when I am heading out for my long awaited trip. That's what makes this all the more fun. Not even sure where I am going. Not even going to plan it since I am now going to be a free spirited woman with a little bohemian in me. 

Hope to have more adventurous news tomorrow.

August 18, 2013 (My 44th birthday)

Had a grand time at my brothers for my birthday party.  Good food and just being together made me so happy.  Great gifts too.

Becky, Dana, & I had a great time last night at The Redbirds game.  We had a rain delay but the got to finish their game.  The food and fireworks were great too.  Perfect weather for a nighttime ball game.

I bought two nice blouses this afternoon. I like all this going out so I want to look sharp.  Ha ha.  I am going to buy some new underclothes, bras, and socks next week.  

I an going to start tomorrow morning off by coloring my hair.  I got it cut Saturday morning.  My grey is really showing now that I am getting older.  I am going to color it darker in the fall.  It might make me feel better.

Redbirds game and fireworks were awesome last night.  Had a great time with Becky and Dana.  I ate so much that I won't be hungry for a while.  We got there early and net a lot of people.  Great experience.  

Tomorrow I will go to church and then to my brothers to celebrate my birthday.  I can't wait to see my family.  It's been two weeks since I have seen them.

Started celebrating my birthday early with Aunt  Lorene and Arthur at the Oak Ridge Boys concert.  Had a great time at the concert and loved the big buffet.  I got a card and some money too.

I am taking off next week for a vacation.  Not sure what I am doing of where I am going.  All I know is I am not going to work and they better not call me.

Counting the days till I am off for a whole week.  Still not sure what I will do yet.  So  many choices; so little money.   I am sure I will end up somewhere in Northwest Arkansas.  I am looking at options tonight but still not so sure.  

I know they are going to want me to cancel my plans next week but I can't.  I have been waiting to long to be able to go somewhere.  I am devoted to my job but this time I am devoted to Ruby.

Going to have a good time this weekend.  Everything is going well so far.  I just want to have fun and enjoy myself for a change.

We had our annual Lions Club pancake breakfast for the Sunflower blues festival.  We weren't busy as we were last year.  I got there early to help cook and set up.

Cooked a great supper of baked, seasoned pork chops, green beans, and mashed potatoes.  I only ate one plate too.  I have enough left for two more meals.  

Been watching movies and playing on my phone most of the day.  My DVD player has gone out on my new laptop.  I hope to get it fixed soon.  I love that laptop.

Jessica moved into MSU today.  I didn't go because there wasn't enough room in the car and I didn't want to drive alone.  I am going to go visit her one weekend in September   or October.

CI am counting the days till I go on vacation.  I think I am going to ride to Heber Springs,AR and camp for a few days.  I might even carry Maggie with me.  All I need is a tent that I can put up and take down in a few minutes.  I have everything else I need.  I am going to bring my portable washing machine, coffee pot, little grill, cooler, etc with me.  My tea will be already made and in the jug.  This is going to be do much fun!  I hope my car can carry all of my stuff.  This is going to be a great survival experience and I am going to make the most of it.

We had two new girls get hired at work.  One started Monday and the other one starts Tuesday.  I am glad to see our company expanding where we need more customer service representatives.

Eating right is hard but that's what I need to do.  I did ok today.  I hope to do better Tuesday.

My dogs and cats are so precious to me.  I love to see their sweet little faces.  If I change jobs; I will carry  my pets with me.

Had a great time in Olive Branch with my family.  I am so proud of my brother and his family for getting out of this area and bettering themselves.  I won't be moving there any time soon.  My goal is to move to North West Arkansas.

I love watching Duck Dynasty!  They are good people that involve Jesus in their daily lives.  I bought seasons 1& 2 and added it to my collection.
