December 24, 2012 (Christmas Eve)

Had a wonderful Christmas eve with my brother, sister in law, nieces, and nephew.  We had our Christmas eve lunch at my house and turned our great.  Lots of good food, fellowship, and love. I got a lot of nice things and very happy.

Well, it looks like we all survived 12/12/12. I wasnt to scared. ha ha I dont think 12/21/12 is going to be the end of the world but the movies on SyFy sure think so. I am looking forward to my bonus check from Saftcart this week. I hope we get it Thursday instead of Friday. I want to get my layaway out at Wal Mart. Can't wait to start using my 32 inch tv. I am going to put it in my bedroom and wait and get a bigger tv for the living room. Not sure what I will do with my little 22 inch tv. i might put it in the office and use it for a tv and a monitor. I am back sick and it doesnt look like I can keep going without going to the doctor. I am going to go Friday if I can make it that long. Being sick for 6 weeks is to long for anyone and I do need to go on to the doctor. Can't wait till friday!!!!!!!!!! I get my Christmas club plus my match that Saftcart gives me. I need that money so bad to help catch up my rent. I am sending them $450.00 Friday. I wont have any left but I will have peace of mind that my bills are getting paid and I am trying. I decided not to go to Yellville, AR this weekend. Bills come first. I may go the following weekend. It all depends on money. I want to go so bad. If I dont go next weekend; I wont be able to go till February or March. I have most of my Christmas shopping done. The kids want money so thats what they are getting this year. I am going to give it to them the weekend before Christmas so they can go out and enjoy themselves. I am hopefully going to get my 32 inch tv and my other stuff out of layaway this friday. I have paid on it for several weeks now and i want to go on and get it out. I wont be buying anything for a while so I thought i need to go on and get it while I can. Later Ruby

Today has been one of those days but it is a productive day. I have to take whatever comes at me and make the best of it. I am looking forward to next weeks paycheck. I have some overtime on it and I get my Christmas club savings and my $175.00 match. I need to pay up my bills that I am so behind on and then I am going to do a little Christmas shopping. Not going to spend a lot this year. The kids are getting money and a small gift. I wanted to go to the Elks Lodge with Debbie and Debra this evening but I really can't afford it. I do need to get out and live a little though. It just wont be this weekend. They say that job related stress is the worse kind of stress. You have to work and taking crap off of mean, nasty people is all part of the vicious cycle. I dont want to be stressed and so I am going to do my job and not so fast where I get frustrated. Ruby

I will soon be in the process of buying a small camper. May have to wait till I get my Christmas bonus and money. I doubt I will get a lot of money back on income tax so I am going to try to pay for it in full next month. I may have to live in it one day. I need to start looking for some good health insurance after the first of the year. I can't afford it but I am going to make myself even if I have to work a second job. I will not be a part of the Obamacare insurance program. Enough of this political mumbo jumbo! I hear enough of it on the news. I am looking forward to my outing tomorrow afternoon with my niece Sarah. we are going to BElla Donna so she can get her nails done for her birthday. we are both looking forward to it. Ruby

I am not going to let Obama being reelected as our president dampen my spirits. I am going to continue to live life like I normally do and try to ignore what all he has done to lower the prestige of this country. I am still a Republican and always will be. I haven't been myself lately. I guess I am getting old and tired. I wake up way to early during the week and even earier on the weekeneds. I am so thankful for caffeine. Ruby

October 31, 2012 (Happy Halloween)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I am not one to celebrate Halloween but I do like the cute decorations and the fall colors. Last Saturday, the Harvest Carnival was another great success at Friars Point Methodist Church. We had a total of 28 people and they all had a great time. I am so grateful that the Lord has chosen me to join that church and be a part of the community. God is good. We are having our Thanksgiving meal this coming Sunday. I hope to see a lot of people there. I am going to cook another turkey. They all loved it last year. I am trying to plan a Thanksgiving get together at my house either before Thanksgiving or on Thanksgiving day. I need to get with family and find out how they want to do it this year. I am also going to do a Christmas party at my house this year. I hope my family can all make it. Ruby
