What a beautiful day yesterday! I slept so good last night because it was cool and calm. I hope today is going to be like that too.

I am going to Lee Academy's Grandparents Day this morning. Its my second year and its always fun. I am picking up Mrs Hutchens so she can see Jessica. I am going to treat them to lunch at Wendy's afterwards.

I am working on my budget so I can get all my bills paid and have money left over. I don't have a lot of bills but I still don't have a lot of money left. I struggled last week and this week is not doing so well. I should be a lot better the first week in May.

I started working on my flowerbed yesterday afternoon. I planted two rose bushes. I am going to put out some gladiaola bulbs this afternoon. I am so excited about doing all this. I am not good at a shovel so I am slow but I get it done. I hope to get part of my yard disked up so I can start leveling my vegetable garden. I am going to plant tomatos, egg plants, cucumbers, okra, strawberries, bananna peppers, Jalapeno peppers, bell peppers, squash, and corn. I am also doing to grow watermelons and cantelopes later in the summer. This is my first project and I hope to do well with it.

I am almost through paying for my truck. I have 2 payments left. I am going to try to keep the truck for another year and hope it will last . I have to buy a lawnmower next. I have been approved by the bank to get a loan for one but I still want to pay cash instead make payments.

I find it hard to believe that it is March and we are still having winter weather. It is so cold outside right now that it is almost unbearable. I think we are having some effects of global warming even though most people will disagree with me.

We start our first SafTcart Biggest Loser contest tomorrow. I am excited about the competition and want to participate. I am glad I have friends that want to make a change and better themselves.

I suppose to get my income tax money in Thursday. I am not going to blow it. I am going to buy a few things I need for the house and pay two small bills off. The rest I am going to save for emergencies.

I finally got my water fixed at my house Saturday morning. I am so relieved to finally get it done. It was hard having to tote water and wash my hair at family and friends house. I couldnt have done it without family and friends. The water situation wasn't so bad because I live alone. If I had children; I wouldn't be able to get through it.

I got my light bill amount Thursday. I never received a bill but went on and got the amount and paid it Friday. I didn't want to be in the dark if I didn't have to be. I have to buy another 1oo gallons of propane this Friday. Not looking forward to that high price this month but it looks like I don't have any choice.

I will be doing another contest this week. Will let you all know in the next day or two.

Its another day in the world of Ruby. I haven't felt good today. I am here so I am not on my deathbed.

It was really cold last night and this morning. I got up around 6:20am and started my morning routine. I didn't drink my coffee at home this morning because I had to do some errands before work. The gym was closed because of the cold weather so I didn't get to walk this morning. I am going to buy a tank of gas Friday and hope they can deliver it to me Saturday morning. I am trying to use up the gas in the tank outside since I am not using that company. I hope to get it all used up by at least Friday or Sunday. I have to get the new tank delivered and be able to let them in so they can check the air pressure inside. I bought a little electric heater this morning at Wal-Mart. I am going to use it in the bedroom tonight and see if it can heat good in there. I can save gas until I get some put in. I hope this little heater can heat good in there. I am going to make sure I have a bath and hair washed tonight so I wont be running around trying to do it in the morning.

So far things are working out well with my water situation. I am getting the water from work to drink, bath, clean up , and flush. I didn' t realize just how much water a person needs a day just for daily things. I am using the big cat litter jugs for water to flush my toilets with. Old milk jugs works great for drinking and cooking. I could really do this if it wasn't so cold outside. If it were summer; I would be just fine.

Today is my first day back from the New Years holiday. Glad to be back at work and get some stuff done here. The day started off slow and its still slow. Hope we will be back in full swing this week.

I got moved in my house this weekend. I am so grateful for my brother and his family to help me get moved. I wouldn't have been able to get in without them. I love my new house. Its roomy and beautiful.

We got a beautiful blanket of snow this morning. I was so happy. Hope it won't turn into ice this week because I won't be able to go to work. Heard we are suppose to have more bad weather this week but not sure yet. Just know its cold outside and I may be going to bed even earlier tonight than I did last night.

Hello everyone. Happy New Year. This is my last blog for the 2009 year. I hope to be back one day next weekend to let you know what happened over the weekend.

I will be moving some of my stuff today since i get off work at noon. I called April and she told me where the key was. I am not going to move my cats or Kincade until tomorrow. I am so excited to be moving but hate all the stress. I am going to love it out there. I have so many plans but I am going to make it all worth wild.
