Bartering

There are several things people just have to have in life that we can live without but don't want to.  Coffee, tea, sugar, alcohol, cigarettes, colas, beer, & chocolate.  I plan on stocking up on them and keep them in case I have to do some trading.  I don't drink or smoke but I don't have a problem buying it for bartering or trading.  

I will also stock up on aspirin, ibuprofen, bandages, and all first aid items.  Bug spray & sunscreen are all important.  Best to keep year round too.

Pipes froze again last night.  Got camper stove on in the pump house and heater going in the kitchen.  It got down to 6 last night.  Goodness it's cold.

I am going to buy two main things next month that I feel I need above all things.  I am buying a small chemical toilet and a rubber hot tub.  That way I can use the restroom without running water and have a hot bath.  Makes a lot of sense to do that with what all I have been through.

I decided today that I will start a Prepper podcast in December. I found one that is free to use.  I want to one day be a well known blogger and podcast hostess.  I will try my hand at internet radio soon but right now I will work on my Prepper podcasts.  I will also start posting on YouTube as soon as I find some good topics. Not sure how it will work out but it's free and free is good.

II stayed home all weekend.  I didn't have a good paycheck Friday so I had to cut it a little thin.  I did have money for gas,groceries, and enough to pay my loan.

I am trying to plan a vacation where I actually stay in a hotel and enjoy myself.  My offset is my sweet pets.  I can't leave them for more than two days.  I want to carry Maggie with me because she is the one that can't fend for herself.  She would have to go with me.  I haven't decided where exactly I am going but it will be in the middle of February or sometime in March.

Last week was horrible with the allergic reaction on my face and my plumbing and pipes all stopped up.  I went to work that week even though I should've stayed at home.  I am trying to save my days off so I can go somewhere in March.  I am going to be off this Monday with a dental appointment so I am gong to go on and take the whole day off.

I am working on doing a prepper demonstration in February at a few libraries.  I am not going to push it to hard.  I want to do it a few times a month and each month have something new to talk about.  I have a lot of things I should be doing but I feel the need to help others.

Work is doing better but it should be a whole lot better.  I could be enjoying my life at another job with better pay, benefits, and better working conditions but I still stay here.  I am waiting for my ship to come in.

Hope to go to Olive Brach this Sunday after church.  Haven't been back since Christmas.  Gas is so high that you can't afford to go anywhere.

It's been a while since I have been on here.  Lot going on and haven't made the time.

Christmas went well.  I went to my brothers Christmas Eve and spent the night.  We had a gteT time.

I am hoping to start my podcast January 1st.  I am not coughing like I was.  I am also using Zello to do a few live podcasts.  So far I don't have any members but I still talk occasionally.

We are off New Year's Day.  I heard that they only needed one person to answer the phones on New Year's Eve.  I can work from home so that's what I may do.  

I am actually going out this New Year's Eve.  I am going to the elks lodge with some friends.  I haven't been anywhere in years.  It's time I start enjoying life.

Thanksgiving Day

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Becky's today.  Ate way to much but boy was it good.  I visited a while then me and Leo went back to their house.  I stayed a little while and I went home.  I was so glad to see my little dog Maggie.  She and I have been snuggling on the couch today.

Watching movies tonight and enjoying the warmth.  I am so blessed to have what I do have.  I work so hard and try to maintain a nice home.

I ordered a computer mic and stand.  I am going to broadcast my first podcast to the world next weekend.  I am going to work on what I will talk about this weekend.  I have to check out some books and look up some information too.  Excited about this and hope I do well with it.  I just hope I can remember my user name and password.
