I am finally getting into the 20th century. I got an IPhone!!!!!!!!! I have owned several but never with service. It switches to WyFy whenever it's available so I won't be using my data. I really like it.

Maggie is getting groomed Saturday. I hope it won't hurt her. She is so tangly. I will have to get her groomed every month just so she will be comfortable.

Had a nice and quiet weekend.  I went to the auction friday night with my family and we all had a great time.  Saturday I babysat for the Young family.  Great time with those sweet kids.  Sunday I went to church & Sunday afternoon I headed to Clarksdale to buy groceries and stopped by the Elks Lodge to visit and had supper. 

The weather is very cold right now.  We were predicting bad weather for this morning but it changed to this afternoon on through tomorrow night.  I don't mind the cold as much as I mind the cold rain.  If we get ice; I sure dont want to lose power.  I am going to invest in a propane stove in the next few weeks for emergencies.  I have the hook up in my sunroom and I am going to get it installed as soon as I have the money.

My pastors wife Sue Cox passed away Friday morning.  I never got to meet her but I knew enough about her to know she was a good God fearing woman.   COPD is a bad disease caused by smoking and there is no cure.  All they can do is keep you comfortable.  Rest in peace Sue Cox!

Today is better than yesterday i can for sure say that.  I have had a rough 2 months and it is really showing.  I cannot handle all the stress at work.  I dont know what I am going to do or just deal with it.  I am lucky because I do have options and I plan on using them in the next few months.  I have already made a few phone calls and I think I am doing the right thing for me.

I am staying home this weekend because of a short paycheck. I am glad I paid my bills last week because I think I have $10.00 to last me until next payday.  I am going to stay home and enjoy my home and sweet pets.

December 31, 2012 (New Years Eve)

New Years Eve started off good but ended very tragic.  I lost my little ferret Mocha Michelle New Years Eve afternoon.  I let one of my outside dogs inside and she was alone with Mocha for 15 minutes and killed her.  I haven't felt that much pain in a long time.  I loved her so much.  The other dogs have shunned Brandi for what she did and so have the cats. Not sure what I am going to do with Brandi but I will not be taking care of her anymore.

Today was supposed to be the end of the world but I am still here so I take it that it was just someone wanting some attention.  I am alive and well!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is my first day back from the Christmas holiday.  I didnt want to come back to work today but I did and now I am glad I did.  Not a lot going on so I got a little work done and got to relax and enjoy visiting with the girls.


Today for lunch, I had a blackened chicken salad for lunch instead of what I really wanted.  (Hamburger)  It was so good and I am so glad I choose it instead of junk food.   I need to get back in my jeans because I sure dont have any room in them.  I bet  I have gained 10 or more pounds since September.

Goody's had a great sale on.  I bought two things that I wanted but wouldnt pay that price while they were full price.  I got them 70 % off and then another 20 % with my coupon.  I am glad I waited now.

December 25, 2012 (Christmas Day)

Christmas Day was amazing.  I had Christmas morning with my sweet pets.  They all got a lot of nice things and plenty of food. 

I went to my brothers CHristmas Day for lunch.  After we had eaten, we sat down and watched Lonewolf McQuaid.  Old movie but very good and we all enjoyed it.

I then went to visit my Aunt Loreine for a few hours.  We all had a good visit.  So lucky to have her in my life.  She is precious to me.
