Becky and I had a great time at the Hank Williams Jr concert last night. I haven't been anywhere in a long time. It did me good to get out and enjoy myself.

I am working on vacation plans. I plan on doing something soon. I am going to carry my family with me wherever we decide to go. Don't know if it's going to be a weekend somewhere of just go to the zoo and Southaven. Will talk to Leo and Christie tomorrow.

Earth Day 4/22/12

Happy earth day! I am going to make a vow to be kind to our planet and do my part for the next week. I hope to learn more and make this a part of my life. God gave us this life and forever we are grateful .

Kincade and I are going to ride to The river today and look at all the beautiful trees. Beautiful day for it too.

I have an eye infection and it's really bad. I had to leave work at 10:00 am today. I have time up but hate missing work. I am going to make myself go to work tomorrow. I might take off work Friday. Not sure yet.

Today was a nice day. Cool and comfortable. Wish it would stay like that. I don't like using the air conditioner to much.

Had a great time at the juke joint festival. Didnt stay long but I did get out and did something.

We had a great turn out at the pancake breakfast. Lots of people our this weekend for our fundraiser. God is so good.

Had a great time with family at the Barnum & bailey circus yesterday. Beautiful day for families to get together. The kids had a ball.

We went to Sams for lunch and did a little shopping. Good pizza ! There was a lot of people out yesterday. Our country can't be in to much trouble because people were shopping and buying.

Looking forward to the zoo in a few weekends. I am going to buy a season pass to the zoo so all the kids will get to go several times this summer.

Had a great supper with Paul and his beautiful girlfriend. Wonderful visit. Looking forward to doing it again soon.

Shan Parks is not doing well at all. He is in the hospital in Southaven, MS. He has been taken off the chemo because it was shutting down his kidneys. He is now on a liver transplant list. I pray to God that he will pull through this and live many more years.

St Patricks Day

Happy St Patricks Day! I listened to some good Irish music and watched Leprechaun all day of SyFy.

My car is still in the shop. I got new tires but now it's the break line. $$$. I am grateful I have a job that can help me with it but it's still very pricy .

I am going to start planning a short vacation this summer. Don't know where I will go but I am going somewhere. I may stay around here and just go to Memphis . I am going to take 2 days off and save the other days for whenever I need them.
