Clarksdale is going down the drain! What once was a beautiful town is now a ghetto. Glad I moved to the country where it's safe. To many senseless murders and the law doesn't have anything to do with it when it happens to a non-black. So sad.

Ready to get home and start decorating for Thanksgiving. I will keep up most of my Halloween decor since it is mostly fall colors. I love this time of year. I don't have a lot of money to buy stuff to decorate with but I have fun using what I do have. Dollar Tree always has great stuff.

I am going to sit down and write out a simple budget and see if that will help me with my financial problems. I make good money but never seem to have any left over and bills go unpaid as a result of it. I did the Dave Ramsey deal but mine is not major.

October 31, 2011 (Halloween)

I had a great weekend. Friday we had a fall carnival at church and 25 people showed up. It was a great success and the kids came out and had fun and so did the adults. Saturday I went to my brothers church to their carnival. I then went to the Halloween set up down the street where I had a great time. I wasn't ready to go since it was only 8:00 p.m so I stopped by my friend Peggys apartment and visited a while. I didn't get in until mid night.

Not a whole lot going on in my life. I am planning on having a nice weekend though. I am not much on getting out a lot but I am this weekend. I am going to October Fest in Cleveland, Alissa's birthday that afternoon, & Leslie's wedding saturday evening. I hope I can get it all done.

Friday is Mason and jordans birthday. I am going to bring a cake over and give them their presents and a little money. I don't think I will go to Southaven to Chucky Cheese with them but i will come by Friday and see them.

Bruce and I are getting along great and we are both so happy. I love him and he loves me and thats what counts. I just wish I could see him more often. I know he has to work though. I cant wait til November. He and I can actually see each other a little.

I decided to work this morning just to get some stuff done that I can't seem to get done during the week. I should have it all done by 9:45 am when I clock out. I doubt I will work next weekend.

These past few weeks have been hectic at work. I look forward to the weekends. I can handle it but I still need some relief every once in a while.

I am trying to start a website with videos, pictures, music, live weather reports, the weather channel, various links, etc. I want to do it for fun and I think it would be if I could get it moving. I have always wanted to own my own radio station or tv station. I can now do it online and it would be free. Ha

Sarah, Mason, Jordan, and I went to Atzimbas for supper. We had a great time. Jessica went to a football game and Leo and Christie went out to eat at The Ranchero. We then went to The Shoe Department before we went to the house. I may try to start taking the kids out on friday night. They were so good.

I am trying to decide if I am going to take a vacation in the next few weeks. I either want to go to Harrison Arkansas to the Southern Heritage event. I also want to go to Pulaski Tennessee in October for their Southern Pride weekend of events. I may need to wait and go in October since it will be cooler and I should have a little extra money.

I turned 42 today. I am getting old and my body is feeling my age. I am still healthy even though I am overweight so I am lucky.

I had a wonderful birthday though. Jim bought everybody lunch for my birthday and I got to pick. We ordered out at the Dutch Oven and Lesa had them order a dozen of their cupcakes. I went by Leo's after work for a party and supper. We had pizza and birthday cake. I got a card and a $50.00 gift card. I then met Lesa, Shan, Debbie, Debra, & Ratt at the Stone Pon. I wasn't hungry but I did enjoy the company. I was up most of the night with horrible acid reflux.
